As part of the Architecture course, as a way of closing the cycle of this academic year, the students at the Mindelo Campus made technical visits on July 2 to the construction site of the Cruise Terminal, accompanied by engineer Bruno Fortes.

According to the engineer, the construction of the Welcome Center and the Jetty are "taking shape", while acknowledging some delays in construction.

The cruise terminal is a project aimed at developing Porto Grande in Mindelo, Cabo Verde. In addition to the market study, the social and economic impact is one of the objectives of this project. It is a program whose purpose is the development of the cruise destination. The aim is to maintain and develop the cruise destination, as well as Cabo Verde as an attractive cruise destination, consequently increasing tourism in a sustainable way.
