Continuing the Collaboration Protocol between the Independent Health Regulatory Entity (ERIS) and the Â鶹ÊÓƵ (UniPiaget), a seminar took place on April 10th at 3:30 pm, in the UniPiaget Auditorium, on the following themes:
• Quality Indicators in the Regulation of Health Care Provision - Complaints and Reports, their Importance;
• Regulation of the pharmaceutical sector in Cape Verde – post-market supervision;
• ERIS as Contact Point for Codex Alimentarius.
These topics were addressed with the aim of improving services to users, inspection and safeguarding of medicines available to the public, and improving the safety of food sales in Cape Verde.
The target audience is students, teachers and guests, from the areas of health or life sciences and law, to become aware of the overload of complaints, impacts and problems that the health sector has been facing lately.
Therefore, the University and ERIS thank everyone who was present for their presence and we expect more initiatives to improve the functioning and provision of services in the health sector.
