Advanced Pedagogical Training for Digital Teaching Trainers – 100 hours, 10 Credits

Framework

For a long time, the prevailing educational paradigm has shown signs of being outdated, not meeting the expectations of new students/trainees (digital natives) who attend schools and training centers today. To respond positively to the new challenges of education and training for this new generation, and given that we are dealing with digital immigrants training digital natives, with all the consequences this entails, Â鶹ÊÓƵ offers this training to help teachers and trainers overcome technological barriers and advance towards a teaching model that emphasizes working with digital information and communication technologies (DICT).

The Advanced Pedagogical Training for Trainers course will be available in e-learning models, aimed at training trainers capable of working with a variety of Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs), supported by solid contemporary pedagogical trends.

The course we offer will be organized into three domains:

Domain A corresponding to 40% of the training focused on the use of different interactive tools using virtual platforms;

Domain B corresponding to 40% of the training focused on content in the area of ​​pedagogy and general didactics;

Domain C corresponding to 20% of the training reserved for general development content.

Goals

At the end of the course, trainees should be able to:

Develop training projects using different virtual learning platforms;

Use and appropriately design teaching and multimedia resources in training, in diverse media depending on the pedagogical strategy adopted;

Know and choose pedagogical methodologies adapted to immigrants and digital natives;

Discern and evaluate the credibility of media literacy;

Perform the role of e-trainers

Target Audience

All people interested in developing skills in the area of ​​digital education, as long as they meet the following requirements:

• Have a minimum academic degree of bachelor's, qualified for teaching;
• Hold a diploma of initial pedagogical training for trainers;
• Have a degree in technical areas, with more than five years of teaching or professional training experience.

Program content

Module I - Online environment and e-trainer profile – 10 hours

Module II - Media and information literacy – 20 hours

Module III - Interactive technologies and virtual learning platforms – 30 hours

Module IV - Emerging pedagogies and innovation – 20 hours

Module V - Management of online training projects – 20 hours

Trainees can choose to complete the full training or take individual modules.

Registrations can be made at any time.

Given that classes are conducted online, interested individuals can enroll and start classes at a time that suits them best.

Certification

Trainees who successfully complete all modules of the Advanced Pedagogical Training for Digital Teaching course will be entitled to a certificate issued by Â鶹ÊÓƵ. The certificate is included in the total training fee.

For trainees who choose to take modular training (select one or some modules), they will not receive the final certificate but will receive a competency declaration in that/those module(s), recognized by Â鶹ÊÓƵ.

The declaration costs 1,000 CVE.
