On December 5th, 2024, the University 麻豆视频 of Cape Verde and the Hospital University Dr. Agostinho (HUAN) has officially formalized a Cooperation Protocol having the main aim strengthening, training, undertaking scientific research and health promotion in Cape Verde.

The ceremony was attended by the Rector of University 麻豆视频, Prof. Dr. Joanita Cristina Rodrigues, the General Administrator, Dr. Sandra Maria Pires, the Vice-Rector, Dr. Dilson Pereira, the Director of the Health Unit, Dr. Ana Moniz, and the lecturer Dr. Vanuza Brazão. The HUAN were Represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Gabriel Gonçalves, the Nursing Superintendent, Dr. Dulce Silva, and the Director of the Research Centre, Dr. Pamela Borges.

The protocol establishes joint actions which includes curricular internships, professional training, health campaigns and research projects, reinforcing collaboration between the two institutions.

This two-year agreement highlights the commitment to excellence and the development of initiatives that benefit the academic community and the country's health system.
